Apple Pie with Butterscotch Sauce

Ingredients:
- 1 x Our Cow Apple Family Pie
- Ice cream
Butterscotch Sauce:
- 80g butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup thickened cream
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Remove the Our Cow Apple Family Pie from the packaging, place it on a baking tray, and bake for 50-70 minutes, or until cooked through and golden.
- To make the butterscotch sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the brown sugar, thickened cream, and salt, and mix well. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 4 minutes, stirring often so it doesn't burn.
- Take off the heat and mix in the vanilla extract.
- Pour into a container and set aside until the apple pie is cooked.
- Slice the apple pie and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a generous amount of the butterscotch sauce.
