Nutrient Dense Liver Bolognese

Ingredients:
- Olive Oil, for cooking
- 1 Onion, finely chopped
- 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 500g Our Cow Grass-Fed Beef & Liver Mince
- 1 Carrot, grated
- 1 Zucchini, grated
- 500g Passata
- 1⁄2 cup Bone Broth
- 1⁄2 cup Fresh Basil, finely chopped
- 1 tsp Dried Parsley
- 1 tsp Dried Oregano
- 1⁄2 tsp Salt
- 1⁄4 tsp Pepper
- 400g Spaghetti, prepared as per packet instructions
- Parmesan Cheese, to serve
Method:
- Heat a large saucepan and drizzle with olive oil.
- Add onion and garlic, cooking until softened. Add beef and liver mince to saucepan, breaking up until browned.
- Add carrot, zucchini, passata, bone broth, basil, parsley, oregano, salt and
- pepper. Simmer until sauce has thickened, approximately 15-20 minutes.
- Cook spaghetti as per packet instructions.
- Serve liver Bolognese on top of cooked spaghetti and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
