Ingredients:
- 500g Our Cow Bolognese Mince
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 brown onion
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- Salt and pepper
- ½ tbsp dried Italian herbs
- 700g tomato passata
- 1 ½ cups beef stock
- 1 cup ricotta
- Lasagna sheets
- 1 cup grated mozzarella
- Fresh herbs, to serve
Cooking instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a large, deep frying pan or pot over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened. Stir in the garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the Our Cow Bolognese Mince and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Season with salt, pepper and Italian herbs.
- Stir in the tomato passata, beef stock and ricotta until well combined.
- Break the lasagna sheets up so they’re submerged in the sauce. Cover with a lid and simmer for 20 minutes, until the lasagna sheets are cooked.
- Sprinkle over the shredded mozzarella, cover with the lid and cook for a further 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
- Finish with fresh herbs and serve. Enjoy!
