Ingredients:
1.5kg Our Cow Brisket
1 tbsp Morella Grove Olive Oil
4tbs Our Cow Low & Slow Rub
1/2 tsp black pepper
Stick BBQ Sauce:
2 garlic cloves , minced
1/2 cupl apple cider vinegar
1 1/2 cups Ozganics Tomato Sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar , packed
2 tsp black pepper
2tsp onion powder
2tsp Low & Slow Rub
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Method:
Rub Low & Slow Spice all over brisket.
Combine BBQ Sauce ingredients in a slow cooker. Mix then add the brisket to the slow cooker.
Cook in slow cooker for 8 hours on low
Remove brisket onto a tray.
Pour remaining liquid from slow cooker into a frypan. Bring to simmer over medium heat and reduce until it thickens.
Drizzle brisket with oil then bake in a 200C oven for 15 minutes until it slightly browns. Remove from the oven and baste with sauce - don't be shy with the basting!
Then return to oven for 5 minutes. Remove and baste again, then return to oven for 5 – 10 minutes until it goes brown.
Serve with left over sauce and coleslaw!
