Ingredients

  • Buttermilk Quail Breast Kit
  • 3 Eggs, cup of plain flour, Dash of milk
  • Oil for Frying
  • Your Favorite Dressing - Ranch, Thousand Island, Aioli
  • Fresh Lemon Wedges (optional)

Method

Step 1
Place Crumbs into a large bowl.

Step 2
In another small bowl, whisk eggs and milk together.

Step 3
Remove large quail pieces from the bag and drain over a colander. Once drained add flour and toss in a bag or bowl.

Step 4
Then to crumb, dip the floured quail into the egg mix, then transfer to

the crumbs, pat the crumbs on and place on a tray. Continue until all

of the quail is crumbed.

Step 5
To cook, shallow or deep fry at approx. 170 degrees for approx. 4-5 minutes or until golden.

To serve, place on a bed of shredded crisp lettuce and accompany with a lemon wedge and chosen dressing.
