We’re so proud that Gail & Tim Thiele, the owners of Springroll Gold and our amazing suppliers of gourmet spring rolls, have joined us as a major partner in the custom creation of our "Car-Beque", our promotional custom-fit BBQ vehicle.
Thanks to the support of our partners like Gail & Tim, we’ll be at several exciting fundraising events throughout the year with our “Car-Beque” in tow, where we’ll be cooking up a storm in support of Rural Aid, Australia's most trusted rural charity, in its mission to help our hard-working farmers.
Springroll Gold, renowned for their gourmet selection of spring rolls featuring unique Australian flavour combinations and ingredients, is owned and operated by Gail and Tim Thiele from their award-winning barramundi farm in tropical Far North Queensland. We were absolutely stoked to welcome Gail & Tim into our Farmer Family at Our Cow last year, and from day one their delicious gourmet spring rolls have been quite literally flying off our shelves. And we can see why - with their exceptional taste, quality of produce, and unique fresh flavours, our customers agree they’re the best spring rolls they’ve ever tasted.
Gail & Tim prioritise sourcing all locally grown produce and ingredients for their spring roll range, supporting their local farming community, and showcasing their very own first-class Barramundi fillets from their own farm. A family run business with three generations involved, the Theile’s are community focused, being one of the major employers in their local area, and having spent the last 16 years refining their sustainable farming principles on-farm.
Thanks to Springroll Gold's generous donation of hundreds of their own gourmet spring rolls, plus their further incredible donation helping us fund the custom build of our very own ‘Car-Beque’, we were able to help make “The Great Aussie BBQ" held on Australia Day under the Sydney Harbour Bridge a huge success. Attendees were able to enjoy a gourmet BBQ, cooked for them on our ‘Car-Beque’, and sampling Springroll Gold’s finest freshly fried on-site.
The collaboration between Our Cow and Springroll Gold, in support of Rural Aid, is a reflection of our shared values and our mutual desire to support and make a positive impact on Australia's rural and farming communities. Gail and Tim, through their involvement with Springroll Gold and support of our 'Car-Beque' project, have not only contributed to the success of this event, but have also become key contributors to the success of Rural Aid and the vital work being done to support our farming community.
