Our Farmers: Meet Natasha & Frank from Morella Grove

Nestled in the heart of the Riverina region of NSW lies Morella Grove, a family-owned olive grove that has been producing exceptional extra virgin olive oil for over two decades. With a deep commitment to sustainable farming practices and a dedication to quality, Morella Grove has become a beloved brand for foodies, health enthusiasts, and olive oil connoisseurs.

Owned and operated by the Dal Bon family, who have been farming grains and crops for many years before branching out into olive groves, with Natasha’s little up and comers the family farm has seen four generations of their family live and work in the region.

Sustainability is a top priority at Morella Grove, and Natasha and Frank have implemented a number of practices to minimise their impact on the environment. They use natural fertilizers and compost to nourish their Italian olive trees, and have implemented a drip irrigation system to conserve water. They also cover crops to help control erosion and improve soil health.


Natasha & Frank place a very high value on the quality of their product, and it shows. Every olive is picked at the peak of ripeness, ensuring that only the best fruit goes into their oil. The olives are then pressed within hours of being picked, using a state-of-the-art cold press system that preserves the delicate flavours and aromas of the fruit, bringing out their intense flavour and colour.

The resulting oil is simply exquisite. It has a bright, fruity flavour with hints of green apple and grass, and a smooth, buttery texture. It is perfect for drizzling over salads, dipping crusty bread, or using as a finishing oil for roasted meats and vegetables. And because it is extra virgin, it is packed with health-promoting antioxidants and healthy fats.

In addition to their exceptional olive oil, Morella Grove also produces a range of other gourmet products, including balsamic vinegar, jams, chutneys and pastes. All of their products are made with the same attention to detail and commitment to quality as their olive oil.

The entire family are very proud of the awards they have won for their products each year (including the Sydney Royal!) and stand by the true paddock to plate process and quality of each line they produce.
