Peter’s lamb farm includes unique breeds that ensure the taste, tenderness and quality of his meat is second to none. “If we can provide that to Australian people rather than export it, that's where we want to be” says Peter proudly.

He says, “I was stunned when they tried to go up against the physical and online saleyards, I thought it was suicide because you can’t compete in a marketplace that’s set up the way it is in the Australian beef industry. I'm so happy to be proven wrong!"".
But Peter believes the success Dave and Bianca have had with Our Cow is testament to their vision and hard work, particularly coming out of the worst fire season in Australian history, followed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“They’re having a crack and taking business away from those two models [physical and online sale yards]. I think they’ve got a future and the thing that will drive that future is their customers”, says Peter.
