Quick BBQ Gochujang Marinade
The barbeque char with the Gochujang paste flavour is absolutely delicious, I dare say it would go well with chicken wings too…
Paired with lettuce cups, fresh chilli, coriander & spring onions for a fresh crunch and light flavours. You can always pair it with rice and Asian veg of your liking. Simplicity is key in most Asian food.
What you will need:
- 6 garlic cloves
- 1 inch of ginger or 1 tbsp of minced ginger
- 1/2 cup mirin
- 1/2 cup sake
- 1/2 cup Gochujang
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- Pork Shoulder
Blend it all together and marinate the pork with 3/4 of the mix for a couple of hours or overnight. Keep the rest of the marinade to baste when you’re cooking it on the grill.
